Used to download the stored data from GO Contact or Ultra Contact labels, this handheld reader is just slightly larger than a deck of cards.
To download the readings, you simply connect the pins of the reader to the corresponding circles on the label. A green, flashing LED indicates that data is being downloaded and will turn solid green when finished.
The reader connects to your PC via the included USB cable and the software handles downloading the stored data. Each label's readings are automatically formatted into a Microsoft excel spreadsheet and a copy is stored on your computer with a unique file name that corresponds to the label's serial number. Also, the software generates a graph and shows the temperature values with the time and date.
