The new generation HPE is a Non-Destructive testing device for determining the firmness of fruit pulp.
For many produce companies, fruit firmness is an essential quality benchmark. The harvest dates of many fruits, as well as shipping and storage times, are often specified by their firmness. The HPE III can be used with interchangeable anvils to check the firmness of peaches, cherries, tomatoes, strawberries, apples, avocados, melons, mangoes and much more without destroying the sample.
